Cobbold Gorge is one of nature’s wonders, tucked away in the savannah outback. To get there from Forsayth, it’s a 43km drive on formed gravel road. Highlights include an escarpment walk and wander on Australia’s first fully glass bridge which spans the 13m gap of the gorge. The Cobbold Gorge Day Tour with transfers to and from Forsayth plus lunch at Cobbold Village operates every Tuesday and Thursday between April and September. It departs from the Goldfields Hotel at 9.30am April-September and returns at around 5.30pm. October departures are Thursdays at 6.30am and return 5.30pm.
